This is the best Korean place in raleigh and as a Korean I feel confident saying that! If you can stop by during the week they have great lunch specials with their bento box or any of their soups or noodles which you can combo with a side of galbi or other meat!

It gets super busy on the weekends especially if you want to grill meats, but it's worth it because their food is amazing and their side dishes are always on point.
My favorite things to get are the seafood soondooboo extra spicy and the spicy seafood noodles. My fiancé
Loved the yoogaejang which is a spicy beef soup, it's hard to go wrong here!

Also for other dishes the bo ssam which is the pork belly or the tofu kimchi it comes out with pork and rice
Cakes on a hot skillet and it is amazing!

First visit to this place based on yelp review. Very quiet
Ordered kids menu for my son - chicken teriyaki- I think the portion is too small. My son is 5, and it was not enough.
Seafood pancake - very crispy and yummy. Love it. Lots of seafood was well.
Combination tofu soup - a bit on the light side. Good flavor, I asked for mild.
Will come again for sure.  Tasted authentic. Love their little appetizer dishes as well.

The reviews are prettyy promising so my husband and I decided to visit this place for a nice Sunday dinner. We didn't expect the ambiance to be so low key, not a pro or a con, just not what we had in mind reading the rveiews, since it's located in a strip mall next to some unassuming stores.

The restaurant seems pretty authentic, and i liked the shumai dumplings we started off with, in addition to the array of appetizers that they served us complimentary. We shared the fried chicken (not sure what the Korean name was!) and also the vegetable Udon noodles with shrimp. Both meals were pretty solid, but being honest, I have had better Korean food; the fried chicken was a little too sweet and wasn't reminiscent of Asian flavors, and the noodles were well cooked and everything, just not very heavy on the veggies, and the broth was a little bland. It wasn't bad food by any means, it was pretty filling and moderately priced, but it just didn't wow us the way we thought.

Babbbyyyyy. So I was craving some beef bulgogi and asked my coworker, the chicken tender & hamburger aficionado if she wanted some. Her response, "You mean ground beef?" Girl bye. This beef is marinated is perfection. So yeah, she didn't get any but my other coworker and I decided to give it a try. We ordered carry out. The food was ready in 10 min. The place was super clean and well organized. It was so good to see staff that was all or primarily Korean and a good bit of Korean patrons; not that Americanized crap where they gentrify the culture with Korean inspired dishes. I don't even know what was all in the box, I just ate. It looked like sweet potato and some other tempura dishes. I also got a little of the beef bulgogi sauce on the side. Yeah, enough typing; I have the itis.

When you dont understand anyone in the resturant because everyone...from staff to patrons.. .all speak Korean....you've found really good, authentic Korean. Dont speak Korean? That's okay, between hand gestures and stilted English,  you will still be able to translate the menu.  Service is great and the staff is super accommodating.  Everything is clean and fresh. Lots of little side dishes come with any food ordered.  Everything I've tasted has been spectacular.
I highly reccomend the seafood pancake...its to die for.
